Before & After
Real Transformations by Dr Sealant
New Bathroom, Old Problem
What was the initial situation or problem?
In a newly renovated bathroom, signs of water leakage appeared around the shower tray just three months after completion. The tiling was of poor quality, and the silicone had already detached.
What did you recommend to resolve the issue?
A complete silicone replacement using premium materials and resealing around the shower tray with professional technique.
How did you solve the problem?
We removed the old, cracked sealant, thoroughly cleaned the entire surface, and applied a mould-resistant, flexible, and strong silicone — with precision and cleanliness.
What was the result? How did the problem become a success?
The bathroom was once again fully usable and completely leak-free. The client could enjoy their newly renovated bathroom again.
How did resolving the issue change the customer’s life?
The stress was gone — no more worrying about further leaks or mould. According to the client, they could finally use the shower with peace of mind.
What did your client say when they realised the problem had truly been solved?
“Thank you for actually doing what you promised — not just talking about it.”
Even the Neighbour Got Flooded
What was the initial situation or problem?
A leak occurred around a bathtub that had been in use for several years, leaving marks on the kitchen ceiling below. The previous silicone had completely failed, and large gaps were letting water through.
What did you recommend to resolve the issue?
Alongside a complete silicone replacement, we recommended stabilising the bathtub and resealing all critical areas.
How did you solve the problem?
After stabilising the bathtub, we cut out the old sealant and resealed the entire perimeter with precision after a thorough cleaning. All work was photo-documented, and our 15-day quick repair guarantee was activated.
What was the result? How did the problem become a success?
The leak stopped, the kitchen ceiling could be repaired, and no further water damage occurred.
How did resolving the issue change the customer’s life?
It brought peace of mind — no more fear that the ceiling would collapse or cause greater damage.
What did your client say when they realised the problem had truly been solved?
“I wish I had called you sooner — would have saved a lot of time, money, and stress.”
After the Cowboy, Comes Quality
What was the initial situation or problem?
The client had already hired a “professional” who used poor-quality materials and incorrect technique. The silicone was wavy, had detached in several places, and mould had returned.
What did you recommend to resolve the issue?
Removal + use of premium mould-resistant silicone + offer of a 60-day extended guarantee. Full peace of mind for a client who had already experienced disappointment.
How did you solve the problem?
With patient preparation, we removed all the worn-out silicone, disinfected and cleaned thoroughly, and applied a new, even, and long-lasting silicone line around the bathtub.
What was the result? How did the problem become a success?
The bathroom looked brand new again. The client posted a photo and review with complete satisfaction.
How did resolving the issue change the customer’s life?
It restored their confidence by finally finding a reliable professional and being able to use the bathroom without worries.
What did your client say when they realised the problem had truly been solved?
“What two people couldn’t manage, you did in one go. Unbelievable how precise your work is.”
When the Gap Was Too Big for Silicone Alone
What was the initial situation or problem?
In a newly built bathroom, the gap between the shower tray and the tile was more than 1 cm — completely unprofessional workmanship. The client noticed water running behind the wall regularly, but a previous tradesman only tried to “fix” it with silicone.
What did you recommend to resolve the issue?
We explained that such a large gap shouldn’t be sealed with silicone alone, as it offers insufficient protection. Instead, we recommended a uPVC trim, a strong and aesthetic plastic element, installed with highly durable flexible adhesive.
How did you solve the problem?
We removed the faulty silicone, cleaned the surface, and installed a precisely fitted uPVC trim. The edges were then sealed with a thin line of silicone for aesthetics and double protection.
What was the result? How did the problem become a success?
The water leakage completely stopped, and the joint became solid and neat. The bathroom now not only looks great but functions perfectly as well.
How did resolving the issue change the customer’s life?
No more daily stress about new damage after every shower.
What did your client say when they realised the problem had truly been solved?
“I’m forever grateful! I thought this couldn’t be fixed properly — but you proved me wrong. I’ll recommend you to everyone!”

Aftercare & Extended Guarantee
We want you to be 100% satisfied with our work.
That’s why we offer a 15-day guarantee covering the sealed areas.
If you experience any issues within this period – such as sealant separation, cracking, or signs of water leakage – we’ll return within 48 hours to inspect and repair it free of charge.
Important:
This guarantee applies only if the issue is not caused by movement or structural instability in the surrounding surfaces (e.g. loose or shifting tiles, moving bathtubs, shower trays or walls).
We cannot take responsibility for failures due to external movement beyond the sealant’s control.
Please note:
Sealant is designed to create a watertight seal – it is not a structural adhesive and cannot be expected to hold together parts that are unstable or in motion (such as flexing bathtubs, unstable tiles, or moving frames).

Your Questions, Answered by Dr Sealant
Have another question? Fill out the form and our team will get back to you shortly.
How long does a silicone replacement take?
It usually takes around 2–3 hours, depending on the condition of the surface, level of contamination, and complexity of the job. For multiple rooms or more complex tasks, it can take up to 5–6 hours.
When can I use the bath/shower again after the work is completed?
Drying time depends on the type of area:
- Kitchen (behind sinks, around countertops): approx. 4–5 hours
- Bathtub or shower tray: minimum 12–14 hours, but in some cases up to 24 hours may be needed
What colours can I choose for the silicone?
The standard colours are white, clear, grey, and black – these are the most popular options. We always confirm this in advance and help you choose the one that best matches your surroundings. Many other colours are also available and can be selected from a colour chart.
What if the silicone starts to peel off within a few days?
This is very rare – in 99% of cases, there have been no issues. But we offer a 15-day quick service guarantee on all our work. If there’s a problem, we’ll return within 48 hours and fix it free of charge.
What affects the price?
- The length of the section to be replaced
- The complexity of the job
- The type and quantity of materials used
- The use of additional repair techniques (e.g. uPVC technology)
